Tell us about a change of dutyholder

If the client, principle designer, or the principle contractor changes during your project, you must tell the council. By law, you must notify building control within 14 days of appointing a new person or company to the role.

Use this form to advise us of any changes in dutyholders.

This information must be advised within 14 days of their appointment.

Requirements of dutyholders and their competence can be found in Part 2A of the Building Regulations 2010 (as amended).
