As of 1 January 2026 you cannot book the Knowledge Test until you have passed an English Test.
The English Test will be held at the Thanet Council Offices in Margate and will be a 1-1 test which will take approximately one hour.
If you book yourself on this course and do not turn up, you will not be allowed to book again for six months.
There is currently no cost for this test.
If you do not pass the test you will not be able to take The Knowledge Test. You will not be able to take the English Test again for at least three months depending on your score.
You must complete this form to request a place on the next available test. We will email you within five working days with the time and date.
We will no longer accept email requests for a booking. The form must be completed.
Please have this information ready as pages time-out after one hour you will not be able to submit this form without all the relevant documents.
