Application for Licensed Activities

It is our normal practice to carry out checks of Council held records and reference to any relevant external agencies in order to decide whether an agreement can be agreed and that an individual or company is able to meet the obligations of the proposed agreement.

The checks which may apply include Council Tax, payments of Business Rates and Housing Benefits etc.

We would request your consent to make the above checks and would appreciate it if you could sign and return the form attached to this letter to indicate that we may proceed with the necessary checks. Should you have any queries please contact me at this office.

I agree to the Council making a search against my name with a credit reference agency. I understand that the agency will keep a record of that search and will share that information with other businesses.

NB: If signing on behalf of a limited company you should state the company name and registration number, in addition to state the capacity in which you are signing.

Council may revert back for clarification on point as needed.
